Description

This female votive figurine has a band of curls across her forehead and fillets of curls that reach her shoulders on each side of her face. The eyes are large and almond shaped, which is one of the characteristics of the “Daedalic” style. Unfortunately, the provenance of the object is unknown so we cannot say with certainty the cultural association; however, the features of the face resemble other Greek ceramic figurines from the Archaic period.

The downloadable files are in an .STL format which is optimal for 3D printing. We suggest using a free software such as Meshmixer to edit the file to your needs. Some objects may need supports added or should be hollowed out for the most efficient printing. Any questions about 3D printing should be directed to kelsey.disko.project@umich.edu.
